CERATIZIT supported the opening of the important future market of Iran by participating in the AMB Iran trade fair, where the carbide producer showcased a broad range of solutions for the oil and gas industry, the automotive sector and other specific industries. This includes carbide cutting tools for metal working as well as carbide and ceramic products used in a variety of sectors to efficiently replace wear parts.

From 30 May to 1 June the CERATIZIT GROUP was one of 90 exhibitors at AMB Iran in Teheran. The Luxembourg-based producer of carbide and ceramic products showcased its competence brands. “Iran is an important future market for us where, as a technology leader, we wish to be present right from the beginning. Therefore, we see the opening of the market as a great chance for intensive collaboration,” says Martin Sprung, head of Group Marketing. Metal cutting with Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT

The competence brand Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT offers cutting tools for turning, milling, drilling, parting and grooving of stainless and high-alloyed steels, cast iron, super alloys and titanium as well as for light and non-ferrous metals.

The product portfolio presented at AMB Iran includes solutions for the oil and gas industry for the machining of all types of seamless and welded tubes. In the automotive and automotive subcontractors industry, visitors to the trade fair can gain an insight into economic and high-quality machining of motor components, brake disks and wheels. For the energy sector the focus is on innovative solutions for turbine blades.

The competence brand Hard Material Solutions showed examples of carbide and ceramic wear parts at AMB Iran. In numerous industrial applications these wear-resistant solutions can replace components in machines and increase tool life by making the production processes more economic and more efficient. Rolls of carbide and ceramic are part of the range for the steel industry as well as carbide water-jet nozzles, tools for diamond production or flow drills, stamping tools for sheet metal working and drawing tools for the wire and nail industry. Furthermore, components made of CERATIZIT carbides increase the service life of injection systems for combustion motors.
